Under the hood is a blue printed and balanced 468 CID V8 engine and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission built by J&J transmissions. The drivetrain was constructed professionally with performance in mind. The 468 was built by R&R Engines in Addison, IL. It is a 454 CID V8 bored.030 over, 4-bolt mains, Manley pistons, Competition Cams strong lifter camshaft, Crane roller rocker arms, Cloyes true roller chain and gears, and ported cylinder heads and consumption manifold. This build was far from cheap, using just premium parts. The list goes on and on. The transmission likewise has some goodies: Coan 11" pro street torque convertor, Lokar shifter and cables, GM business 10" posi-traction rear-end with 3.70 gears. The fun does not stop here, the body and interior are well worked over. The interior is customized by Addison Interiors. The body was striped to bare metal and recovered properly. The outside is painted Black Cherry with ghost flames. The front end is from a Camaro with power disc brakes.
