Vinyl Interior
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1932 Ford Highboy. Painted in a great shade of medium red with matching steel wheels, beauty rings and Ford hubcaps. This was a two year build starting with BeeBop fiberglass body, a very nicely detailed interior done in black vinyl with red piping by Don Albers and a fire breathing small block Chevy 350 with a 6 71 blower by Dyer's Blowers out of Chicago. The rest of the engine includes two 600 Edelbrock carburetors, a four bolt main block, block hugger headers, finned aluminum valve covers, an electric fuel pump with regulator, Summit distributor with a Mallory ignition and an aluminum intake manifold. The head work was professionally done by Button's Automotive and the blower is running a 6% under drive pulley. Backing up this stout power plant is a Turbo 350 transmission and an 8" Ford rear-end with 3.08 gears. Slowing things down is done with the help of front disc brakes, rear drums and stainless steel brake lines. Supporting the chassis is a mono leaf front suspension and adjustable coil over shocks in the rear. Steering is done by Unisteer rack and pinion that benefits from new king pins, bushings and tie rod ends. The interior is very impressive, stepping inside you can't help but notice how much time and energy went into this sweet '32. From the body colored dash with custom pin stripping, to the Flaming River tilt steering column. The seats, door panels, headliner and the trunk have all been treated to black vinyl that's so soft, you think its leather. All of the interior has been very nicely trimmed out with red stitching and piping for a custom finished look. Inside you'll also notice power window switches and a power trunk switch. There's one more feature inside that is sure to cool things down, air conditioning! Speaking of cooling things down, there is also a transmission cooler and electric cooling fans for the engine. You wouldn't believe it but this hotrod already has 20,000 miles since the build was completed! A true testament to the build quality and the care the car has received.
